Bridesmaid Dress Ideas...

Love these BCBG Max Dresses... wish wish wish I could send my bridesmaids down the aisle in these!!! oh I adore Karen Elson!

Kate Sylvester Dress

Decided to go with Black dresses for my Bridesmaid and had a great time looking at Posh Girl Vintage for inspiration... I originally wanted 40s 50s glamour but the girls wanted cocktail dresses that looked vintage with a modern edge!

Gorgeous!

Lace & Zipper Hair Accessory

An great alternative to going out and buying a veil or hair piece! Easy and fast to make and they require little material. Perfect to make from satin and lace ribbons, fabric scraps, small toys, plastic flowers and so on. Make different styles, colors and sizes to suit any outfit you might wear! Suitable also for short haired girls :)

Simplicity is best sometimes!

Thought about this look but I've had enough of Antlers!

even thought about a Mad hatter Tea party themed Wedding!

Deciding Upon Our Wedding
Bands!

We purchased our Wedding bands on Ebay. 14 carrot Sterling Silver Bands... both of which we found for under $50! We plan on having our Jeweler friend customize them... I'm an antique kind of girl. I much prefer something with a little history behind it. So when I was forced to search for brand new rings online due to budget reasons I knew in the back of my mind that our good friend the jeweler would ruff them up a notch to a gorgeous antique-y effect!!!

Myself & my husbands hands displayed on an old hardback copy of War and Peace!!! Neither I nor Andrei owns a copy of the Bible! Thankfully War and Peace is not symbolic of our relationship!

If our budget was quite a bit more sizable then I would have chosen these stunning rings by Hannah Louise... Check out her stunning website www.itchyfingers.org/hannah/rings1.html

LINGERIE! Receiving Sexy Lingerie was my favorite part of my Bachelorette Party!

Lingerie from Helpless... you can find these gorgeous under garments on Etsy!

Our Wedding Cake with Homemade Figurines.

When thinking of your Wedding cake make it unique buy adding some cute figurines that have some meaning to you and your groom/bride. Myself and my husband (fiancee then!) made these using Premo Sculpey Oven Bake Clay which you can buy at most good art stores. We used miniature dolls for the bodies, Sculpting the heads over the existing dolls heads! Easily done!

Such a stunning piece! My budget won't cover a purchase like this so instead I've been keeping my eyes open at flea markets, car boot sales, searching craigslist and the likes for old bird cages, Parasols, old victorian push prams even old disregarded pieces of furniture! On the wedding day i'll display fresh red roses inside the bird cage, or sitting upright inside the Parasol hanging from the ceiling or Gazebo. I'll plant some roses in the push pram lining it first of course!

I was inspired by this simple but fresh bedroom photo... it has a very light & airy feel to it!

Both myself and my Fiancee are happy to wait and have our Honeymoon further down the line when we can afford to do it without the worry and hassle of budgeting. So instead we'll spend our wedding night at home in our own little bed. I spend the majority of my spare time decorating our apartment. I've been flicking through magazines scouting for eerie, rustic, endearing, romantic photos as inspiration! Here are a few of what influenced me!

This one above is my Dream Boudoir! I just LOVE it. Someday I hope to have two bedrooms... one of which will be decorated like this and the other on the reverse side; Bright and airy!
